If something seems terribly original, it’s probably because you aren’t familiar with the reference.

While they each have their merits, it’s been the first photo kinda day, and I really wish it were more the second photo kinda day.

Seriously can’t stop.  There will be at least one more update on this - what’s a san francisco bicyclist without a hill, right?  And I’ve also got a scenic bridge shot to bike by. In the meantime, I tried out more newton for the triangles and displacement maps for the scarf blowing in the breeze.

I’ve had 4-up image in my inspiration file for ages, but today it struck me: what a beautiful illustration of the creative process from sketch through process and then to final image.

I went digging to find out a little bit more about it, and was introduced to the work of Jean-Paul Goude - seems I’ve missed a major exhibit:

At least there is YouTube:

Bicyclist complete!  Someone has been on hold waiting for feedback on their paying gig!

DIGGING INTO NEWTON - AWESOME.
As per usual, I had to try to make something bicycle related to try it out.

FINALLY.
After Effects CC.  Came for the C4d Integration. Stayed cause they finally got that little default setting right that has caused me no end of grief over the years (“Oops! I forgot to check export audio!”).
